Elizabeth was born in Brooklyn, New York. She likes to say that poetry is just an extension of her hand, having had trouble speaking at an early age, she found a way to express herself with the written word. Music became another one of her great loves.
She studied poetry in college but in 2019, a self-taught musician, she moved to Nashville to pursue songwriting full time. While there, she fulfilled a dream of creating Spark The Beat in order to have a home for her creative pursuits. Shortly after her move, the pandemic started and poetry again became her haven. Spark The Beat became the home of her first published work, Little Bits of Love, in 2022.. After a collaborator gifted her with naming Spark The Beat as the music publisher on their work, she realized STB could be the home to various creative endeavors.
Since then, she's been seen behind the scenes as a writer and creative strategist, on the stage as a musician, and most often on her couch. She considers both Nashville and Brooklyn home, has a love of traveling and a passion for raising awareness for mental health issues.
Elizabeth is pro-oxford comma, a big believer in dreaming big, and can't wait to meet you.
